Spring WL

I can't wait Spring to be here! :) I'm not a big fan of cold winter, so right after December I want Spring. <3 It's snowing a bit at the moment, but I don't want having snow, it's like a month late! :(

Spring and Summer collections are probably my favorite. <3 I decided to show you my WL and share some great swatches of these collections from great bloggers that already posted swatches, so you can made your own WL too. :)
Let's start with OPI and their Holland Spring 2012 collection. There are 12 colors but I want "only" 5.
Pedal Faster Suzi!
Kiss me on my Tulips
Dutch'ya love OPI?
Wooden Shoe like to know?
Did you 'ear about Van Gogh?

Yap, I want all pinks, purple, nude and a brown one too, that gold shimmer inside is just tearing my heart! <3 You can see amazing swatches at Fashion Polish, who also posted this collection first I think, here and here. On the first link you can find all the cremes and second all shimmers in this collections. Her swatches are just amazing, you can see all the details in every polish. :)

Another OPI collection which was recently released is Nicki Minaj. There are 6 polishes - 3 cremes, 2 glitters and a shatter. I want...

Pink Friday

Yap, another pink. :$ Click here to see Rie's gorgeous swatches at Nails and Noms. Do you like bar glitters? They look so wrong to me, I think I'll never like them. :D

Next is China Glaze and Electropop Spring 2012 collection. :e I'm very excited about these, because if you read me for a while, you know I just adore their Up&Away Spring 2010 collection and this one looks stunning too, colors are a bit brighter but there are also few pastels. :) I'm sure they're not very original colors but I can't help myself. All colors from Up&Away collex has amazing formula and as far as I know, there are not worse so I added another 5 items to my WL.

Gothic Lolita
Sweet Hook
Dance Baby
Wicked Style
Fuchsia Fanatic

Oooops. :$ I really can't choose only one so I decided I need all pinks and purples. :P You can see great swatches at AllYouDesire and her gorgeous nails here. <3 Well, she always makes me want every single nail polish she shows. :P

I was sooooo excited about China Glaze's Prismatic collection. I was 100% sure I'll need this one...

Full Spectrum

But after seeing first swatches here at Maria Sparkle I'm not really sure I need it. Okay, they're pretty, I'm really loving multicolored glitter but I expected holographic glitter, like holo holo. :/ What do you think?

Edit: Check Dandy-Nails.com's swatches of Optical Illusion, Full Spectrum, & Liquid Crystanails on her nails! They're pretty but not what I think they'll be. xo

Same about China Glaze's Magnetix collection. Amazing Erika from Chloe's Nails posted swatches here but I'm so over magnetics just like with crackles. Essence made them a while ago, had all of them but gave almost all away. :D It seems like everyone is doing magnetics at the moment and I want something else.......... :D

Orly is having a lovely Cool Romance Spring 2012 collections. My favorites...

Prelude to a Kiss
Artificial Sweetener

I didn't see lots of swatches around for now but these at Sweety Nails convinced me I need these 2. <3 Both are really soft and subtle, that's why I want them badly. :L

Essie's Spring collection is called Navigate Her, you can see Jen's swatches at The PolishAholic here. First I thought I need some but I'm not a big fan of Essie's brush, I see that application isn't that great and I'm also not loving blueish pinks, so I think I can live without them though. :D

Let's say that's it. :D I still didn't see any Color Club's Blossoming swatches around but I hope I won't have to add more to my WL.... And I still can't wait to see what has Essence prepared for us for this Spring! :e

With a huge help of lovely ladies I'm swapping with, I hope that this WL will be fulfilled in a month or two. Well, whenever, I'll wear them even in Summer or Fall or Winter. :$

Huh, a lot of collections going on right now, right? Did you make your WL? What's your must have polish from all of these collections? Let me know, I'd really love to hear your thoughts about them. :)

I'll probably be away for few days or weeks so I decided to make this post tonight, I'm still on tiny break from studying but from tomorrow on... I have to study hard. 8)

Thanks for reading and have a nice beginning of the week dear readers and followers! :rainbow

Blue & Purple Zebra Print

I don't know what's with all animal prints going on my nails. :D I got super exciting news yesterday about passing an exam that I was sure I failed miserably. :$ So I decided to make another manicure with animal print to make my day even more special. :P I made quite similar combination on Veri's nails and I loved it so much so I had to try it on myself.

I started with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Pacific Blue, this is probably my favorite blue ever (its dupe is H&M - Blue my Mind). Both of them are soooo hard to photography, they're always too bright. :/ Color on the last blurry picture is probably the most color accurate. :) Then I sponged Nicole by OPI - I've Bieber Fever on diagonal half on my nails and over whole nail a bit of Nubar - Petunia Sparkle. I stamped zebra pattern from BM-223 and Wet n Wild - Black Créme. :)

Here's the final result. <3

Nail Tek - Foundation 2
Nicole by OPI - I've Bieber Fever / sponged
Wet n Wild - Black Créme & BM-223 / stamping
Beauty Secrets TC Fast Finish Polish Dryer

Steps to achieve this look are quite similar as I showed you in Zebra Print Tutorial I made a while ago, I just sponged the colors a bit differently. :) You can pick whatever color combination you want, just be creative. :) I really love how the purple glitter is peeking under the zebra pattern. <3

BTW... I'm having problems with updating my Blog roll, so if you're not there, please don't think I removed you. :) Everytime I want to update and save it, it keeps saving and nothing happens. I think that must be a blogger bug, because I'm not the only one with this problem. :)

I hope you're having a wonderful and relaxing weekend and thanks for reading! :rainbow

Stargazer - 307

I owe you swatches of Stargazer #307, right? :) As I told you before, I got this polish from Esther at Fab Fingertips months ago and never had a chance to try it out. I wanted Space Cadet (Orly) for ages so Esther kindly sent me this polish instead, because it's supposed to be Space Cadet's dupe. :) Thanks Esther! <3

Stargazer #307 is more on a sheer side, I think I needed 4 coats for full opacity but it's definitely worth it. I like everything about this polish except the green shade which was visible most of the times under lamps and it drove me crazy, because I can't stand green on my nails. :) I will have to wear it on a daylight to see if I'll change my minds. :D

This beauty is multichrome foil with teal base - you can spot green, pink, purple, yellow and bronze color. I took all this pictures under daylight bulb.

I wasn't satisfied with pictures and my fingers posing, that's why I made this collage of pics to show you how green can this polish be. :D

I'm really loving Elsa's round pictures, hope she won't mind if I start using them too. :$

Nail Tek - Foundation 2
Stargazer - #307 / 4 coats

What do you think? It's also great base for stamping like I showed you here. :)

Do you own Space Cadet or any of its dupes? :) Like I said, it's way to green for my taste so I'm having bigger hopes for Models Own - Pinky Brown. :$ What's your favorite multi or duochrome?

Thanks for reading!

Leopard Print

Time flies by just too fast. :/ I don't have a lot of time for nails but I finally took some time to remove my previous manicure and make something quick but cute. :) I'm in a brown period lately so I wanted to have something brown on my nails too and what's better than leopard print? :)

I started with one coat of BS and Essence - Zulu (light gray creme with plastic finish) just to give my nails a color. I decided to sponge Desert Fox (greyish brown), also from Essence, and Warm & Fozzie (brown copperish duochrome) from OPI to get a little shimmery look. :) I stamped leopard pattern with BPS M57, as I already told you that the patterns are small so I had to double or triple, but I didn't have problems with placing the pattern to look like I didn't have to stamp twice. :) I added some dots with 2030 from China Glaze - gold metallic color and a layer of TC to finish my whole manicure.
When I made it yesterday I wasn't sure if I like but as soon as I saw it on sun, I love it! :)

Essence - Desert Fox (TE Into the Wild) / sponged
OPI - Warm & Fozzie / sponged

China Glaze - 2030 / dots

What do you think? I will probably wear it for whole this week. <3 Do you like wearing animal prints? Which one is your favorite? Mine are probably leopard and zebra. :)

Thanks for reading and have a lovely day! :rainbow

Call me when you find Unicorn Puke

It's time for another manicure I'll probably wear until it totally chips. :D

My hand is much better now and I'm happy I waited to fully recover before coming back. :) I still have problems with lifting things and I can't move my wrist up and down, but it's much better as it was. :e

I also file my nails down just because I had problems with my index nail, I had a tiny cut on the side but I always manage to file it to a smooth edge. But it kept breaking my nail and everytime I spotted the cut, I was so nervous so last time I decided to file all my nails down. As you probably know I prefer long nails on me, but I hate if I have peels or weird borders. :$

I didn't know what to wear so my mom chose for me.Well I pick 2 of them and she pick the one. :)
p2 - Call me! & Cult Nails - Unicorn Puke
She picked p2 - Call Me! - dark plum creme. It looks much lighter in the bottle on the sun than on nails. :) I got it from Adora Belle but I didn't hear from her for ages, hope she's okay! :( I added 2 coats for full opacity and it dries pretty fast. Since I've seen Amygrace's nails she did for my guest post, I feel in love with sponged flakies so I decided to try my first Cult Nails tiny bottle of Unicorn Puke I got from Iris at Polish Amor ♥. Thank you Iris for sharing your bottle of Unicorn Puke with me. <3 Unicorn Puke or also Clairvoyant has multicolored flakies in a purple jelly base - you can find blue, green, orange, purple flakies inside, all I can say is gooooorgeous! <3

Cult Nails - Unicorn Puke aka Clairvoyant / sponged

It's soooo pretty. <3 Unicorn Puke is really an amazing polish. :) I hope I'll get my hands on more awesome polishes from Cult Nails. :) I should definitely wear dark color more often, especially when my nails are so short. :$

What do you think about this combination? :) Thanks for reading! :rainbow I should take a nap to catch some sleep and study! I have an exam on Saturday - not good. :(

Dots, Heart, Stripes & Cupcake Nail Art

Today I'm showing you another 2 products I got from Born Pretty Store - 15pc Nail Art Design Brush Set and Silver Stripping tape. I didn't have any ideas how to try them out so after a while I decided to do skittles manicure with different patterns so I could try different brushes and tape out.

Here's what I came up with. :$

Nail Tek - Foundation 2
Thumb: OPI - Sparrow me the Drama / 2 coats + White Acrylic Paint &amp + Star Fimo Slice; Longer Liner Brush
Index: Ciaté - Fun Fair / 2 coats + Farmasi - 031 + Sparrow me the Drama + Essence - Stamp me! White + Pink 3D Steel Ball Glitter + Pink Rhinestone & Smaller Painting Brush & Longer Liner Brush & Dotting Tool / Cupcake inspired by Simply Rins
Middle Finger: Essie - Splash of Grenadine / 2 coats + Essence - Very Berry + Farmasi - 031 + OPI - Sparrow me the Drama & Silver Stripping Tape
Ring Finger: Essence - Very Berry + White Acrylic Paint + Farmasi - 031 & & Smaller Drawing BrushThe Smallest Painting Brush & Dotting Tool/ Cartoon Heart inspired by Nailside
Pinkie: Farmasi - 031 / 2 coats + Essence - Stamp me! White & Dotting Tool
Beauty Secrets TC Fast Finish Polish Dryer

Unfortunately I didn't include my thumb in picture and it was already late to take another one. But I made vertical stripes with liner brush and added pink star fimo slice. :)

Brush set contains 15 brushes and you get: 3 drawing brushes, 7 painting brushes, 2 liners, 2 fan brushes and 1 dotting tool (see the picture below). As you can see I didn't try them all but just some of them and all I can say is that these brushes are really great for nail art. My freehand skills aren't phenomenal but sometimes I really want to try something out especially when I spot great tutorials, for example Jane's Cartoon Heart or Rina's Cupcakes. <3 One of the drawing brush had wonky bristles so I cut them out and it was ready to use. All brushes have long handles and because I already have one with short handle I prefer that one over these, long handles make it harder to hold and paint details, but that's maybe just me. :) You get 15 brushes for less than a $5 - great deal if you're asking me. :D

I'll probably use drawing brushes and the smallest painting brush most of the times, but other painting brushes are also great for clean up. :) I know I can't leave without clean up brush and every time I loose it in my room, I'm going crazy but now I have lots of them. :) Those with more nail art skills would probably use all of them but I'm still not there. :P

I also got Silver Stripping tape. I used it on my ring finger. First I applied base color and when it was fully dried, I taped regular tape for a bottom line and then 2 pieces of stripping tape above. Stripping tape is self-adhesive so it stays on surface perfectly. Than I carefully painted rows between tape with different colors and removed the tape so I got 3 rows with different color. I could leave it like that, because I got a lovely tape manicure but I decided to add tape again for lovely detail. I added a coat of TC to seal it on the nail. :) You get one roll of tape and I think I'll have it for quite a long time. I'd suggest you that you keep it in that little plastic bag, because it's quite sticky on the sides, that's why my roll is full of dust. :/

Don't forget to use code IRJ61 to get 10% off on your order. ;)

My fave is probably the cupcake and I can't wait to make it again, probably as an accent nail. <3 What do you think? Would you wear a manicure like this or is it too girly for you? :P

Thanks for reading. :rainbow

Stargazer - 307 & Born Pretty Nail Art Stamping Plate m57

Weeks ago I got another package from Born Pretty Store with few products for review purposes and here is the first I decided to try out. These pictures are quite old now but I never had time or will to crop and prepare them for post. Better late than never, right? :)

I got another image plate in mail - m57. I wanted it for a while, because I still don't own it. I just overlooked the important text on their page saying that the patterns are smaller than others. It'd be probably perfect for those with short nails but for me some patterns are too small, even normal patterns are sometimes too small for my nails but you can still use them of course. :)

Here you can see m57 on the right and m69 also from BPS on the left. You can see that the patterns are smaller on m57.

I wanted to try out another Leopard French Manicure I did before with different base color so I used Stargazer - 307 for my base. I'll show you pictures of this polish on its own in one of my next posts. :)

I used tape for diagonal lines and stamp my tips with this leopard pattern and Wet n Wild - Black Créme. On my middle finger I had to stamp the pattern twice to cover my whole nail. I probably couldn't do that with fishnet pattern, it'd be hard to make it look like I didn't stamp twice so if you have long nails or nailbeds, that pattern will be too small for you. :)

Nail Tek - Foundation 2
Stargazer - # 307 / 3 coats
Wet n Wild - Black Créme & m57 / stamping
Beauty Secrets TC Fast Finish Polish Dryer

I hope you can see the pattern but it was really hard to take pictures of this mani. :/ What do you think? Do you like it?

Born Pretty Store has so many stamping plates and lots of other nail supplies for nail art with free worldwide shipping so I'd recommend you to take a look. You can also use code IRJ61 for 10% off on your order. ;)

Do you have any image plates from BPS? Do you like them? Thanks for reading! :)

New Goodies

I decided to show you few goodies I got recently. :) I didn't polish my nails but I still got some really amazing nail polishes. <3

Before New Year OPI had lots of giveaways aon Twitter. You could win a set if you tweet them right answer first, questions were mostly about Muppets. I must say I didn't watch Muppets when I was younger so often that I'd know all those details they're asking... I think they weren't that popular here as in US I suppose. So I googled for an answer and I googled fast, because I wanted those minis obviously. :$ That's how I won this lovely gift I got yesterday. :e Very very Lucky Ivana. 8)

The Muppets Soundtrack
OPI minis Wocka Wocka!, Excuse Moi!, Designer... de Better!, Warm & Fozzie

I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with soundtrack CD. :i Would you like to have it? Let me know, I can give it away with few nail polish but I don't want to give it away to someone who wouldn't care about just like... Khm... Me. :D

Next lovely pakage I got all the way from UK from lovely Esther at Fab Fingertips - check her blog, she is such a sweetheart. I got it months ago and I never took a great pic, just like now, but I wanted to share this with you. :) I'm still having them on my desk, that's why they're so dusty. :$

Star Gazer
133
307

She sent me Star Gazer's dupe for Orly Space Cadet - 307, which I wanted to try out and she kinldy added another similar duochrome I still need to try out. Thank you Esther so much! <3

I already showed you amaaaaazing swap package from Polish Amor ♥. <3 I got so many goodies on my B-day. :party

Last but not least are these....

Golden Rose Graffiti Nail Art - 12, 09
Farmasi - 031
Bourjois - 18
Essence - Cotton Candy (TE Circus Circus)
OPI - Lucky Lucky Lavender

First 3 nail polishes were a B-day gift from Veri, she brought them from Bosnia and I was so amazed that they have Graffitis there. I saw them at Emerald Sparkled but I never thought I would have at least one of them, yay. :i Farmasi is a totally new brand to me but I loooove this shade of pink. <3 Thank you Veri so much, you know I love you. :k Bourjois is a lovely holographic glitter perfect for layering and it sparkles so much, I got it from another great friend for B-day. :h Of course I got only the pink one from Circus Circus, bit I also don't like square glitters. Lucky Lucky Lavender was a huge lemming of mine and I finally got it from Kleopatra at On the Color Side, thank you. :)

I think that's it. :e What would you like to see first? I don't know where to start and that's killing me. I'll start painting my nails slowly so expect pictures of my manicures soon! :)

Btw, I have to say a big THANK YOU to all who're reading my blog and became a follower of mine.
Few days ago I hit 1000!!!! :party
And I already have 1025 followers! Big thanks goest to all lovely ladies who sent me a guest posts, because I probably got them just because of you. :$ THANK YOU :k .

Huh, I didn't realize my post will be that long so I hope you made through here. :) Thanks for reading!

Holiday Guest Post #14: Nails and Noms

What do you do when you can't sleep? I'm typing this post together and listening to the music. :e

Woooohoo! Blogger finally changed comment section and now you can answer on invidual comments without writing all your replies in one comment. Great job! :e In case you don't have it - check Blogger Buzz for details! I always wanted my comments to be like this but I didn't want to install Disqus or others, because I hate that profile pictures aren't visible. I remember pictures more than text so that was a big no for me. I had some problems with smileys in comments but now they'd be visible. :) I still don't know why the hour of comments isn't right and it looks like I'm not the only one with that "problem". Anyone already found out how to set it? Or it's just a bug for now? :P

Okay, we're having Rie from Nails and Noms here. :e Rie is having amazing blog with even more amazing macro pictures of her manicures. I just love them, because you can see all the details in polish she posted. <3 Here's what she had prepared for us. :e

Morning Everyone!

The lovely Ivana asked me if I could do a guest post for her while her hand healed from surgery, and I said yes of course! I had all sorts of amazing ideas for the holiday season to do some themed manis. Then life happened and the holidays came and went. :( Not deterred, I decided to play around with two shimmery polishes I recently acquired with the help of my Red Angel stamping plates. No holiday theme this time around, but it still turned out pretty neat! ^_^

Pure Ice Twinkle & OPI Lucerne-Tainly Look Marvelous w/ Red Angel RA-112 Stamp
Pure Ice Twinkle & OPI Lucerne-Tainly Look Marvelous w/ Red Angel RA-112 Stamp

For my base polish I used 2 coats of Pure Ice Twinkle, a gorgeous peach coral with golden shimmer. Then I used my Red Angel RA-112 stamp with OPI Lucerne-Tainly Look Marvelous, a gun-metal grey metallic. I really like the way this turned out, I hope you do too! You can enlarge the photos to their original size you can really get a good look at the shimmer in both polishes. :-)

That's all I've got for today, I'd like to thank Ivana for letting me pop in for a guest post and I hope you all enjoyed it! ^_^

I can't wait to get RA plates in my hands! This is so lovely pattern and I love how subtle but pretty this manicure looks! <3 Thanks Rie for sharing your manicure with all of us. <3 Please check Rie's blog Nails and Noms to see all her beautiful manicures and show some love, you won't be sorry because her blog is amazing, I promise. :D

Do you already own RA plates? Do you like this lovely combo? :)

I think I'm going to watch a movie or something and fall asleep pretty soon. Bebo is sleeping under my bed but everytime he hears that I eat something he get up quickly and check what I'm eating. Like he've never eaten before. xD

Thanks for reading!

Nighty night,

Holiday Guest Post #13: The Polished Perfectionist

Another holiday guest post, maybe the holidays are really gone but I don't want to change the name of this guest post set, and we have an Orthodox New Year's Eve on Friday too. :P

I'm so excited to have AmyGrace from The Polished Perfectionist here. :$ She's probably my role model! When I "grow up" I want to have nails like she has with such a perfect application, pictures and everything. I can stalk her blog all the time, because she's just amazing. <3
Let's see what she has prepared for us today. <3

Hi everyone!

I'm really excited; being asked by Ivana to make a guest post for her wonderful blog is just.. wow. I love her nails and she's so sweet, but of course you already know that. It feels good to help a sweet blogging friend out! Ivana, thanks for the opportunity! I hope your hand recovers quickly so we can see your beautiful nails again. ♥

No pink on my nails, but I hope you guys can appreciate my purple mani. ^^ I started with applying two coats of Diamond Cosmetics - Crushed Velvet. This purple is so lovely I almost felt guilty for adding something to it, but I had to make my nails look a bit more special for this special post. I decided to sponge the tips of my nails with Fowl Play from Orly. Fowl Play is a masterpiece, look at all those awesome glitter bits and flakes (noticed the big one in the letter O?)! I was curious how my nails would look matte, so later I applied one coat of matte top coat. I like both looks, what do you think?

Thanks for watching!

I'm in loooooove, that's why I made this pictures so big! <3 Everything is just perfect on this manicure. :L I never thought of using a flakie for sponging but now I definitely need to try this out! I love both but shiny version just a little more. AmyGrace thank you for sending me this amazing manicure, I'm really honoured to have you here. :h

I'm sure you all know AmyGrace, but just in case you still don't follow her blog The Polished Perfectionist, you should and I promise you, you'll be obssesed with her :P

Do you like both versions? :L

Thanks for reading! :rainbow

Have a lovely day,
Ivana :k

My Fave Manicures in 2011

I'll break guest posts with one of my post today, because I really wanted to share my favorite manis of last year with you. :D I also need to take pictures of top 2011 polishes but I still didn't get a daylight bulb. I will probably buy it soon. :) It wasn't so hard to choose like it was with polishes, so here we go. If you want to see whole posts of manicures, just check the links below for more information about what I used and similar. :) I wanted to pick only 10 but then I decided to make them 3x4, so I could make this sets. :P

I wish I had longer nails back then, because I really prefer long nails on me. :) But I was quite happy with my first stamping skittle manicure I did for Valentine's Day, lovely Leopard French Manicure, Polka Dot Manicure made with dotting tool and Ruffian. :L I'm in love with Ruffians, I can't wait to do more of them. :e

I love both versions of Funky French with holos I made, can't decide which one I love more. :L Another Ruffian manicure on longer nails as first above and the last stamping manicure on amazing base color with foil on my ring finger and cute rhinestones in the middle of bows. Oh, I was so happy with this manicure and I always want nails like this, I love this length on me! :L

Very Berry is probably my favorite Essence's polish at the moment, it's so unique pink with purple undertones and I definitely need a back up of this beauty, of course my New Year's Eve Milani Gold Manicure, studded bright pink manicure I got so many comments for and last but not last my Ombre try, I wore it when I graduated, that's why I love it even more. :$

These are my picks of my fave 2011 manicures. Which one is your favorite and why? Would you maybe pick another mani? Which one? I'd like to hear what you loved most in last year on my blog, if you can remember what I have posted during the whole year. :$ Let me now if you're missing something or ask anything. :)

Thanks for reading! :rainbow

Holiday Guest Post #12: So Nailed

I would like to say Hiiiiii to all new followers I got in those days. :$ I can't believe I'm at 986 now! Only 14 left to reach that magic 1000 I always dreamed about! :L I hope I'll be back with my nails soon, so you won't get bored and left me before I even start again. :P It's still a bit awkward for me to paint my nails so at the moment I still won't experiment much. :)

We're having Stéphanie from So Nailed here today. We became great friends and I just love talking with her. <3 I'm so happy she decided to make another guest post for me, the first one was about Deborah Lippmann - Glitter in the Air. S. is very talented girl, who takes her pictures in totally different way than mostly of us, that's why I love her even more. Let's see what she has prepared for us...

Hello Lovelies !

It's my turn for a guest post on Ivana's blog !
So I'll present to you: My take on a nude half moon !

It's been a long while since I last posted, and I'm honored I that I may post on Iv's blog again !
We talked about doing a nude half moon a while ago, I tried out a couple of things; freehand, with those little white paper rings...
But I wanted something more special, more elaborated...

So for this manicure, I used 3 coats of Claire's 212, and then I cut out half moons out of those little lace stickers I got a while ago (from Réserve Naturelle, a french store I think)
I'm such a perfectionist, I wanted every sticker to have the same size, but I kinda failed :(
Haha and I lost one during 10 minutes, so yeah, that one didn't stick that well anymore (I hope it's not that noticeable)

I think this mani is very feminine and delicate, what do you think ?
It gives me kind of a spring feeling, which I need now
I love winter but here in Belgium, the weather was SUPER rainy, and that's not winter for me :(
Hopefully the weather is a lot better where you are !

Lots of love and kisses
Xx. S

I'm in love with your Half Moon Manicure. :L This is another way to make it, if you don't want to use polish to make your half moons, great job S. :) I think you send me these stickers too so I have to try this soon! But I must say that half moons look so much better on oval nails! Oh, sometimes I really want to file my nails oval, but I think it won't suit me. :$
Btw.... I totally want an Ipad now. :L You could be a hand model! You would sell me Ipad in a sec and I also would run to check your blog, I can see you're "reading" it when you're taking pics! :D

Thank you so much for your lovely post S.! :k In case you never visited S.'s blog, check So Nailed and follow! But S. you should start posting more, we miss your posts! :i

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Thanks for reading. :i

Holiday Guest Post #11: Nailside

Are you already tired of guesposts? Hope you're not, because I'm still not finished. I love all posts I published and I've few more to come. :e

We're having Jane from Nailside here today. Yap, the girl who can rock schotch tape manicures like nobody. How many times I tried to do something like she showed us in her tutorial posts on her blog but I failed miserably - or the polish isn't 100% dry and I smudge everything or my lines aren't perfect like hers. 8) Let's see what has she prepared for us. :)

Hello Ivana Thinks Pink readers! Of course I immediately said yes when Ivana asked me to make a guest post for her blog. I spotted her perfect manis a long time before I started blogging myself, so being here is an incredible honor :-)

Ivana recently told me that she liked the heart design so much from an Essence stamping plate that I’d shared on my blog, so that’s what I used in this mani. At first I wanted a coral pink from Essence for the base color, which coincidentally is named Think Pink! :-D But because my camera is terrible at capturing corally pinks (it makes them look very orange) I decided to go for something even better: a pink holo, I know how much Ivana likes those! ;-) I picked Smooth from the brand Teeez, which Ivana’s already showed you before in a super cute funky French mani. I love how easy it applies and only two smooth coats later I was ready to stamp the heart design with black. I don't have a lot of stamping experience, but this design was pretty okay to work with. And it's so girly, love it ^^

And this brings us to the end of my guest post, I hope you enjoyed it :-)

Thanks for having me Ivana! :-* And may your hand heal soon because we really miss seeing your beautiful nails here!

<3 Sooo pretty! <3 This plate is a must have! :) I'm so honoured you pick this pattern and lovely holo for today's post Jane. :L Yap, she knows what I love for sure. :h I can't believe you still remeber that Funky French manicure I did months ago. :) So sweet of you! I'm honoured for having you here, because you're just amazing. :h

Do you already spotted this lovely stamping plate from Essence? It comes in a set with stamper and scraper. What do you think about this lovely combination? For slovenians readers: Did you already spot this plate in store? If so, where? :)

In case you never saw Jane's amazing schotch tape manicures, you must check her blog at Nailside and subscribe now! Please tell me I'm not the only one who tried to do a mani inspired by here and failed? Or am I just the only one who can't deal with tape? :P

Have a lovely weekend dear readers and followers and thanks for reading! Btw I changed the header of my blog, let me know what do you think! :)

Xoxo,
Ivana :k
